Julia Richmond is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. She is dedicated to a patient-centered philosophy, ensuring her patients feel heard and are active participants in their healthcare decisions. Julia's background in orthopedics, coupled with her passion for pediatric orthopedics and sports-related injuries, drives her collaborative approach to promote the best overall health outcomes.

A Louisville native, Julia attended Bellarmine University for her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Prior to PA school, she gained invaluable experience as a physical therapy technician for two and a half years, maintaining a keen interest in orthopedics stemming from her own sports-related childhood injuries. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. One of the most rewarding parts of her role as a provider is the strong relationships she builds with her patients.

Julia's philosophy of care is built on mutual respect and shared decision-making. Her goal is to ensure a collaborative effort between provider and patient to promote overall health. She excels at treating all patient populations, with a particular passion for pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine, and enjoys working with athletes and sports-related injuries.

Outside of her dedication to orthopedics, Julia enjoys staying active through spin classes and strength training. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and caring for her golden retriever.
