Kailey Carlson, MD, Resident

Kailey Carlson, MD, is a resident physician specializing in family medicine. Having grown up in a rural community with limited access to health care, she is dedicated to improving access to high quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Dr. Carlson takes a holistic approach to care, incorporating the importance of mind, body, spirit and community. She advocates for health at every size and provides care that is not limited by age, sex, gender, race, culture or background. Dr. Carlson strives to empower patients to achieve their unique health goals, and to meet each patient with kindness by ensuring her practice is identify-affirming and trauma-informed. She finds great joy and fulfillment in the care of families.

Away from work, Dr. Carlson enjoys hiking, dog fostering, gardening, crochet, quilting and embroidery. She also has an interest in environmental justice.
