Katherine Kucharczyk, MD

Katherine Kucharczyk, MD, is a pediatrician who cares for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.  Dr. Kucharczyk believes a pediatrician’s role is to lay the framework for a lifetime of healthy choices. She considers it a privilege to partner with patients and their families to achieve this goal. She has a special interest in promoting safety at home, around water and on the road.

Dr. Kucharczyk loves getting to know her patients and learning about their home lives, interests and communities. Her recommendations are rooted in evidence and aligned with their values. She believes it is important to involve children and adolescents in their clinic visits to help them understand the role they play in their own health and safety. You can often find her sharing her stethoscope with curious preschoolers, explaining growth charts to school-aged children, and encouraging adolescents to take charge of their own physical and emotional well-being.

Away from work, Dr. Kucharczyk enjoys skiing, cooking, photography and live music.
