Kedarnath Vaidya, MD

Dr. Kedarnath Vaidya is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist. Dr. Vaidya specializes in advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including complex coronary interventions, high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with mechanical circulatory support, structural heart interventions, and peripheral arterial disease interventions. He is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Vaidya is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, with certifications in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease, and he holds a Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography and board certification in Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Dr. Vaidya earned his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College Poona University, India. He completed his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Vaidya completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island. His extensive training has equipped him with the skills to address complex cardiovascular conditions with precision and care.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Vaidya contributes significantly to the medical community. He serves as a Clinical Cardiology Council Member with the American Heart Association, where he helps shape guidelines and advances in cardiovascular health. He has also previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Conroe Regional Medical Center, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to improving clinical services.
