Krista Anderson, NP

Krista Anderson, NP, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to Bryan and nearby communities. As a valued member of the St. Joseph Medical Group, a network comprising multidisciplinary health care providers conveniently located throughout the Greater Bryan and College Station areas, Krista brings a spirit of humankindness to every patient interaction. Her commitment to improving health and advancing the common good is evident in her inclusive care approach, ensuring all patients have access to the services they need.

Krista began her journey in health care by graduating from UTA in 2018 with her APRN in Family Medicine and promptly joined St. Joseph. She started as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department, providing vital care during critical moments. As her family grew, her path evolved, leading her to the Urgent Care department and later to pediatrics, where for the past seven years, she has been a source of healing and support for families in the Brazos Valley.

For Krista, the most rewarding part of her role is building authentic connections with the families she serves, watching them grow and thrive. Her philosophy for patient care centers on informative, shared decision-making, ensuring that every course of treatment is a collaborative effort between provider and patient. This approach truly embodies the CommonSpirit value of Compassion – caring with listening, empathy, and love.

Outside of her professional life, Krista treasures time with her family, often found chasing her two children. They share a love for sporting events, enthusiastically cheering on their Franklin Lions. Krista is excited to expand her practice, continuing her mission to serve families in the Brazos Valley with unwavering dedication and a heartfelt commitment to their well-being.
