Leslie Moro, NP

Leslie Moro, DNP, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience and 8 years of advanced practice in primary care and community health. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from East Tennessee State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). With a clinical background in family practice, chronic disease management, preventive care, and population health, Leslie has a strong commitment to health promotion and health equity.

Leslie is committed to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care that supports the whole person—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Her approach is grounded in building trusting relationships, empowering patients through education, and partnering with individuals to achieve their personal health goals. For Leslie, the most rewarding part of being a provider is empowering patients to improve their health and quality of life. This philosophy ensures accessible, high-quality primary care that enhances the well-being of the patients and communities she serves.

In addition to her clinical practice, Leslie formerly served as an educator in the graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for five years. From 2019-2024, she helped prepare the next generation of nurse practitioners through mentorship, clinical and didactic instruction, and leadership in advanced practice nursing. This leadership role showcases her dedication to advancing the field and ensuring a high standard of care. Her academic journey includes a Master of Science in Psychology from Auburn University at Montgomery, further enriching her comprehensive approach to patient well-being.
