Dr. Lorenzo Deveza is an orthopedic spine and oncology surgeon and an Assistant Professor
of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Deveza’s professional interests include surgery of the spine, oncology surgery and bioengineering.
Dr. Deveza earned his medical degree from Stanford University, where he also received a doctorate degree in Bioengineering. He received a master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of California at Davis, and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from San Jose State University. He completed an Orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by fellowships in Spine Surgery at NYU Langone Health and in Orthopedic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Deveza holds three patents in surgical tools and methods involving hip replacement and hip surgery.
