Madhavi Kurli, MD

Dr. Madhavi Kurli practices in the Phoenix metropolitan area and specializes in the medical and surgical care of retinal disorders as well as cancers of the eye.She completed two fellowships — vitreoretinal surgery and ocular oncology — at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where she was granted the 'Best Outgoing Resident' award upon graduating residency.Dr. Kurli went to medical school in India and trained in ophthalmology in the United Kingdom. She has authored several journal articles and book chapters on the diagnosis and treatment methods for uveal melanoma and has presented her research at national and international meetings.She is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Ocular Oncology and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, in London.Dr. Kurli lives with her husband and two sons in Scottsdale and spends her free time with her friends and family.
