Marcus Patrick Bautista, AGNP

Marcus Bautista, NP, is an Assistant Professor and Nurse Practitioner at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, where he has been a member of the clinical staff since 2015. He joined the lung transplant team in 2020 and specializes in the management of patients with advanced lung disease and lung transplantation.

In his clinical practice, he provides comprehensive care to lung transplant candidates and recipients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He works as part of a multidisciplinary transplant team managing patients across the full transplant continuum, including pre-transplant evaluation, perioperative care, and long-term post-transplant follow-up.

As an Assistant Professor, he contributes to the education and mentorship of trainees and advanced practice providers and is committed to advancing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with complex cardiopulmonary disease and end-stage lung disease.
