Maya Sampath, MD

I aim to ensure my patients feel heard and leave with a full understanding of their care.” ~ Dr. Maya Sampath Dr. Sampath earned her MD from the University of Southern California and completed her OB/GYN residency here at Marian Regional Medical Center. Dr. Sampath loved her time in Santa Maria as a resident and chose to stay in the area to serve the community here. Dr. Sampath practices full scope general obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in contraception and family planning. She performs in office procedures, offers minimally invasive surgical approaches, and delivers patients in the hospital via vaginal delivery and C-sections. She enjoys teaching future generations of OB/GYNs by being involved with residents and medical students’ education. In her spare time, Dr. Sampath enjoys baking, taking her dog to the beach, hiking, exploring restaurants throughout the central coast, and spending time with her family.
