Mehrdad (Mac) Farid, MD

Mac Farid, MD, is a board-certified vascular medicine physician. Dr. Farid was drawn to medicine as a way to connect with and help people. Of critical importance to him is the need to spend time with his patients and to educate them about the nature of their disease and its treatment, so patients can be active participants in their own recovery.

Being an active listener and exercising empathy are the hallmarks of his care. Dr. Farid is a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Medicine, and a member of the American College of Medicine, American Heart Association, American College of Phlebology and Society of Vascular Ultrasound.

Away from work, Dr. Farid enjoys oil and acrylic painting, cycling and spending time with family.
