Melinda L. Aquino, MD

Melinda L. Aquino MD, a board certified vascular surgeon. She utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques to treat a full spectrum of venous disorders.

Dr Aquino has a focus in treating venous disorders including varicose veins, spider veins, and ulcers as a wound care specialist. She also has extensive experience with arterial conditions including dialysis access, carotid artery disease, renal artery stenosis, and aortic aneurysms. Dr. Aquino completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and her M.D. at Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center (Boston University) and continued as a Smithwick Fellow of Vascular Surgery, training under James Menzoian, MD. Dr. Aquino went to Eastern Virginia Medical Center to do a specialized fellowship in endovascular surgery. She has been in the Bay Area since 2006 serving San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, and the East Bay.
