Meng-Chen Lee, NP

My experience as an immigrant has prepared me to respect and better understand the importance of providing quality care to patients from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I look forward to contributing my passion, communication, and interpersonal skills as a family nurse practitioner to provide quality health care and patient education for individuals with diverse backgrounds and those in need in the community.

At age 15, coming overseas from Taiwan and seeking medical assistance was always challenging due to cultural and language barriers. Shortly after high school, an incident took me almost a year to fully recover from my illness. From this incident, I realized it only takes a little extra attention from a provider to impact one’s life dramatically. As a result, I decided to pursue a career in family medicine to make a positive difference in the health and well-being of many others like myself and people with diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.

I love to read novels and watch movies.  I also enjoy traveling with family and friends.
