Michael Soung, MD

Michael Soung, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in all aspects of primary and preventive care for adults, with a special interest in patient education. Dr. Soung takes the whole person into consideration when working to improve their health. He sees himself as a guide, assisting his patients to navigate through their health difficulties and develop a plan of care. He considers it an honor and privilege to have patients share their concerns with him and to earn their trust.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Soung teaches resident physicians through the Virginia Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Soung is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

When not busy practicing medicine, Dr. Soung enjoys running, playing tennis and spending time with his family.
