Milton Wesley Chu, MD

Dr. Chu grew up in Pacific Palisades, California and attended Palisades High School. After completing his bachelors degree studies at Stanford University, he began medical school at Georgetown University and completed his clinical training at UCLA. He did an internship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and then performed his residency at the Cullen Eye institute in Houston, Texas.Dr. Chu has conducted research in Corneal Transplantation, advanced Cataract surgical techniques and Eye muscle and Strabismus surgery.Dr. Chu has published scientific articles in the American Journal of Ophthalmology,  the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Journal of Pediatric and Strabismus Surgery.Dr. Chu has several inventions related to intraocular lenses and holds several patents in the US and abroad.in 2017 Dr. Chu recieved FDA approval for one of his patented intraocular lens inventions.
