Molly E. Russo, MD

Dr. Molly E. Russo is a highly skilled general surgeon with an additional specialization in Hepatobiliary Surgery. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care at CommonSpirit Health, ensuring each patient receives integrated and holistic experiences at every touchpoint. Dr. Russo performs a wide range of procedures, including open, robotic, and laparoscopic gastrectomy, cholecystectomy, hepatectomy, hernia repair, colectomy, appendectomy, distal pancreatectomy, splenectomy, thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, gastric bypass, and sleeve gastrectomy for various conditions such as cholecystitis, appendicitis, liver, pancreas, stomach, and large intestinal tumors, hernias, melanoma, diverticulitis, small and large bowel obstructions, and other complex surgical needs.

Dr. Russo began her medical journey at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency at WellSpan York Hospital. She further refined her expertise through a fellowship at Advent Health Orlando. Dr. Russo is driven by a patient care philosophy that emphasizes treating the whole person, not merely their disease.
