Nancy Kitson, MD

Dr. Nancy Kitson is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a deep-rooted commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. A California native, Dr. Kitson is delighted to have returned to her home state after a distinguished career serving diverse communities across the American West. Dr. Kitson earned her medical degree from The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in New Hampshire. She went on to complete an Internal Medicine internship at Oregon Health Sciences University and a Family Medicine residency at the University of Utah. For 25 years, Dr. Kitson served with the U.S. Indian Health Service, providing essential care to the Apache and Navajo nations in the Southwest Four Corners region. During the last decade of that tenure, she focused specifically on the needs of Navajo elders in both clinical and nursing home settings. This extensive experience solidified her specialization in Geriatric Medicine—a field for which she holds a profound passion. Dr. Kitson takes great pride in supporting the health and independence of older adults. Her clinical expertise includes: Preventative Geriatric Care: Providing Medicare Initial Preventive Physical Exams (IPPE) and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWV). Chronic Disease & Medication Management: Tailoring long-term health strategies to the unique needs of seniors. Procedural Care: Offering in-office services, including skin biopsies, lesion destructions, and trigger point injections. Having raised her family in Colorado, Dr. Kitson brings a wealth of life experience and a compassionate, holistic approach to her practice. She is dedicated to fostering strong, long-term relationships with her patients and ensuring they receive high-quality, accessible care at every stage of their lives.
