Nathan James Culberson, MD

Nathan Culberson, MD, enjoys practicing full-spectrum family medicine. His interests include inpatient and outpatient medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, procedures, endoscopies and LGBTQ care, and he has developed a love for teaching these topics. Originally from Fayetteville, AR, Dr. Culberson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas before moving to Memphis, TN for medical school. He then moved to Fort Worth, TX to complete the John Peter Smith Family Medicine Residency program. Dr. Culberson also spent an extra year of training focusing on maternal child health, including high-risk obstetrics. He joined the Southern Colorado Family Medicine faculty after he graduated. Outside of work, Dr. Culberson spends time with his wife and children hiking, camping and participating in winter sports. He also enjoys sci-fi and fantasy, DIY projects, woodworking, board games and video games.
