Natividad Rodriguez Vargas, MD, DABFM, is a dedicated and compassionate family medicine practitioner at CommonSpirit Primary Care Davis. She is passionate about building strong patient relationships and empowering individuals to take control of their health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez Vargas serves a diverse patient community. Her care philosophy centers on treating patients holistically, considering their overall wellbeing rather than focusing solely on specific illnesses. A strong believer in preventive medicine, she advocates for healthy lifestyles and regular check-ups to promote optimal wellness. Dr. Rodriguez Vargas's journey to becoming a family physician began with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She then pursued her Medical Doctorate at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Her medical specialty training in family medicine was completed at the Mayagüez Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as chief resident, demonstrating her leadership and clinical expertise. Outside of her practice, Dr. Rodriguez Vargas values spending quality time with family. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, and exploring new destinations.
