Nicholas (Nick) G Cowan, MD

Nick Cowan, MD, is a board certified urologist and transplant surgeon specializing in kidney transplant, kidney cancer, kidney stones, and laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery. He also offers aquablation treatment for benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).

Dr. Cowan is the Urology Residency Program director at Virginia Mason and a clinical assistant professor of urology at the University of Washington. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, and the Urologic Society for Transplantation and Renal Surgery. He serves as a manuscript reviewer with Urology Practice, Urology, Journal of Urology and Clinical Transplantation.

Away from work, Dr. Cowan enjoys surfing, skiing and backpacking.
