Peter Ko, MD

Board-certified in family practice, Peter Ko, MD, has been a physician since 1996. He sees patients ages 7 and up at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care. He was inspired to become a physician by a desire to take care of people, and chose family medicine as a specialty because it offers an opportunity to treat a broad spectrum of diseases and patients. In his approach to care, Dr. Ko strives to be accessible to his patients, and said he demonstrates humankindness by being “compassionate and present in their time of need.” Dr. Ko received his professional education from the University of Chicago, earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois, and served his residency at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. Outside of work, his hobbies include gardening and hiking.
