Dr. Phillip Williams is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine in the Joseph Barnhart Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Williams’ clinical and research interests include: ACL injury and prevention, joint preservation, biologics, and rotator cuff conditions. He uses novel techniques and innovations to relieve pain, restore function, and confidently return patients to their desired activities.
Dr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Yale while competing on the track and field team. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Surgery in New York. Dr. Williams also completed a fellowship in Sports medicine at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute, where he assisted in the care of several professional sports teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Sparks, and the Los Angeles Galaxy.
