Purnima Sravanti Teegavarapu, MD

Dr. Sravanti Teegavarapu specializes in benign and malignant hematological diseases. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine - Hematology and Oncology and Medical Director of Hematology at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine. 

Dr. Teegavarapu’s clinical interests include lymphomas and other blood diseases. Dr. Teegavarapu received her medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. 

She completed her residency at University of North Dakota in Fargo and postdoctoral fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She also completed a fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. 

Dr. Teegavarapu is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Hematology and the American Board of Oncology. In addition to English, Dr. Teegavarapu speaks Telugu and Hindi.
