Rachel Haynes, DNP

Rachel Haynes, DNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner who has a special interest in caring for children with special needs and disabilities and completed a fellowship focused on supporting these children and their families. She believes every child deserves to be seen, understood, and cared for as an individual, and she strives to create a welcoming environment where both children and parents feel comfortable, heard, and supported. As a mother of four adult children, Rachel also understands pediatric care from a parent's perspective and appreciates both the joys and challenges that come with raising a family. When she is not caring for patients, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and taking walks with her husband and their pup. After nearly three decades in pediatrics, she still feels fortunate to do work that she loves and to be a part of the lives of so many wonderful children and families.
I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 28 years of experience caring for children and families in pediatric primary care. One of the things I value most about my work is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with families and to watch children grow from infancy through adolescence and into young adulthood.
