I believe that caring for women in obstetrics and gynecology is about more than medicine—it’s about trust, connection, and teamwork. Every person’s story is unique, and I want my patients to feel truly seen and heard. My role isn’t just to provide medical expertise, but to stand beside my patients as a teammate — someone they can count on to listen, explain, and support them through every step. I want each patient to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in their choices, and reassured that we’re working together. I became a physician because I wanted to have a positive impact during some of the most important moments of people’s lives. For OB/GYN physicians in particular, these moments include welcoming new babies and helping women through illness as well as key developmental stages in their lives. Being part of these milestones showed me how meaningful it is to walk beside patients, and it confirmed my desire to dedicate my life to this work. I knew from a very early age that this is something I always wanted to do.
