Rajan K. Patel, MD

Dr. Rajan Patel is a board-certified neurologist with specialized training in Clinical Neurophysiology, dedicated to providing quality neurological, electrodiagnostic, and neuromuscular care to his patients and community. Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, where he distinguished himself academically by earning a place on the Dean's Honor List for four quarters as well as recognition on the National Dean's List. He went on to complete his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. Patel completed his Neurology Residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center South Campus, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and was elected Chief Resident during his senior year. In that role, he played a key part in advancing the residency program, including helping to spearhead the development of a collaborative stroke team. He subsequently completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Arizona Medical Center, where he gained specialized expertise in EMG, EEG, intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, EMG-guided chemodenervation, and neuromuscular training. With a comprehensive background spanning general neurology, electrodiagnostics, and neuromuscular medicine, Dr. Patel is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to every patient he serves.
