Richard Olstein, MD

Richard Olstein, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with additional fellowship training in interventional cardiology. Dr. Olstein believes in a patient-centered model of care. This is one where the physician-patient relationship is collaborative, and the uniqueness of each patient and their values are acknowledged when a decision or treatment plan is made. It is a relationship that is open, honest and of mutual respect. For Dr. Olstein, the health and wellbeing of his patients is the "North Star" that guides all that he does in medicine.

Dr. Olstein offers access to comprehensive heart care, close to home for patients in or near Burien, West Seattle, Des Moines, or Vashon Island, including leading-edge heart procedures such as protected percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This innovative procedure makes coronary stenting safer for high-risk patients.

Dr. Olstein is a member of the American College of Cardiology.

Away from work, he enjoys cooking, hiking, golfing, cycling, traveling and spending time with family.
