Ruba Alafifi, MD, MPH

Dr. Ruba Alafifi grew up in Houston and attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education. She completed medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas and OB/GYN residency training at Albany Medical Center.

Prior to medical school, she spent time working with refugees in Southwest Houston. She is passionate about delivering high quality, sustainable care while building connections with her patients. Her areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, gynecologic ultrasound, women’s health policy, and quality improvement. Outside of work, she enjoys interior design, travel, photography, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.
