Sam Coy, MD

Dr. Samuel Coy is a dual board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. A Vanderbilt-educated physician, he completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas after his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Chicago. Dr. Coy passionately believes in a collaborative, individualized approach to patient care, prioritizing clear communication and evidence-based solutions. His greatest reward is witnessing patients regain mobility and independence, returning to their active lives. Outside medicine, this Kentucky native enjoys family time, travel, vinyl records, UK sports, the Bengals, and outdoor activities with his family and dogs.
