Why Did You Become a Medical Provider? I became interested in audiology after watching my niece struggle with speech and language acquisition due to a hearing impairment from multiple ear infections. Once her ears cleared up with medical intervention, she acquired speech rapidly. I was so impressed with the connection between hearing and the development of speech that I decided to become an audiologist. I love the fact that I can have a role in how people communicate by diagnosing their hearing problems and finding the best course of treatment.Personal Interests and Hobbies: Reading, hiking, bicycling, yoga, cooking, and traveling.
Providing the best care possible and building a relationship with each patient that lets them know I care.
