Sarah H Chung, MD

Sarah Chung, MD, specializes in a variety of rheumatologic disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis, mixed connective tissue disease, inflammatory spondyloarthritis, gout and crystalline arthritis.

Dr. Chung enjoys caring for her patients and supporting them through their medical journey. She strives to provide the most current information regarding their rheumatologic condition, and hopes her patients leave each visit with a good understanding of the status of their condition and the rationale behind their therapy plan. She also strives to empower her patients to engage in collaborative decisions regarding their care. Given the multi-organ, systemic impact of many rheumatologic diseases and the therapies used to treat them, Dr. Chung emphasizes a team approach to care involving the patient's primary care provider and other specialists.

Dr. Chung is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology. She holds Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification (RhMSUS) from the American College of Rheumatology. She previously served as faculty with the University of Washington Division of Rheumatology.

Away from work, Dr. Chung enjoys spending time with her family.
