Dr. Greenberg is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiac electrophysiologist who provides compassionate and specialized care to address complex heart rhythm disorders. His clinical interests include the ablation of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation/flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia. He also specializes in device therapy utilizing implantable cardiac defibrillators, biventricular devices, and pacemakers, alongside sudden cardiac death prevention and risk stratification. Dr. Greenberg brings his expertise to serve the communities of Houston, TX.
Dr. Greenberg's dedication to improving heart health began in Denver, CO, where he completed his undergraduate education with a B.S. in computer science engineering at the University of Colorado, followed by his medical school training at the same institution. He then pursued an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cornell University in New York, NY, training at both New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Following this, he deepened his specialization by completing both a cardiovascular disease fellowship and a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the renowned Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX. His extensive training at the Texas Heart Institute included rotations at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he was recognized for his leadership, serving as chief cardiology fellow in 2014 and chief cardiac electrophysiology fellow in 2015.
A committed leader in his field, Dr. Greenberg is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He also holds board certification from the National Board of Echocardiography in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. Dr. Greenberg is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the Texas Heart Institute Cardiac Society, continuously engaging with and contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular care.
