Scott P. Tannehill, MD

Dr. Scott Tannehill has practiced in the Phoenix area since 2009. He has over 13 years experience as a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. Dr. Tannehill held faculty positions at several top-tier universities such as the University of Wisconsin, the University of Florida, and University of Arizona, where he served with distinction as an educator and researcher. Dr. Tannehill has practiced abroad during a sabbatical year at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia. Dr. Tannehill takes a keen interest in doctor-patient communication and ensures patients have the information and time needed to make good decisions. He emphasizes 'total care' of every patient and coordinates with other specialists. His practice has spared no expense in securing the most sophisticated technology but emphasizes that technology is important but not sufficient for ensuring cure of any cancer. He believes the passion and expertise of the physician is as important as technology in the treatment of cancer.
