Sherwin En-Shau Hua, MD, PhD

Dr. Sherwin Hua is a Johns Hopkins trained Neurosurgeon. He has performed over 2,000 surgeries and has consulted with thousands of patients over the last decade. Dr. Hua specializes in spinal fusions through single dime-sized incisions, to preserve the lamina and avoid laminectomy for his patients.

Dr. Hua believes that Less is more and has developed the concept of DIME SPINE surgery which is his technique of performing most single level spine surgeries through a Dime Sized Incision, including most fusions.   Dr. Hua also created the term Lamina Preserving Surgery, which is a minimally invasive surgery that avoids laminectomy and preserves the anatomy and stability of the neck and back.
