Simar Singh, DO

Dr. Simar Singh is an experienced family medicine provider at The Vintage Family Medicine in Houston. Dr. Singh embodies the compassionate and person-centered care that defines our ministry. As a recent graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program in Phoenix, Arizona, she brings a robust foundation in osteopathic medicine, earned at A.T. Still University, and a deep understanding of the diverse communities we serve. Dr. Singh, who earned her BA from Baylor University, is passionate about whole-person health care and believes that understanding how daily life impacts her patients’ physical and mental health is critical in providing care.

Dr. Singh's comprehensive approach to health is rooted in a desire to promote overall well-being, including personalized preventive care and wellness visits. Her training was completed in a predominantly Hispanic, underserved community, where she championed care for patients facing multiple social determinants of health. This experience profoundly shaped her dedication to health equity and advancing social justice for all. She also provides care for acute infections, minor procedures, acute sports injuries, and minor skin issues, always striving to deliver care that is both accessible and excellent.

Beyond immediate concerns, Dr. Singh is dedicated to long-term health management, helping patients navigate chronic conditions with grace and understanding. Her expertise spans areas such as arthritis, diabetes, and high blood pressure, alongside managing high cholesterol, thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, and supporting weight management goals. Her commitment is further demonstrated through her volunteer work with St. Mary's Food Bank and Christ House, where she engaged in food distribution and kitchen/cooking, reflecting her profound dedication to serving those who are vulnerable.
