Sohaib Rana, MD

Sohaib Rana, MD, is a dedicated Internal Medicine physician who believes in providing patient-centered yet evidence-based care. Dr. Rana aims to make a significant difference in his patients, offering comprehensive treatment for a broad spectrum of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid issues, heart disease, COPD, arthritis, and hyperlipidemia. He also addresses acute concerns like URIs, depression, anxiety, and ADHD, while also providing essential annual check-ups and vaccinations.

Dr. Rana's extensive medical journey includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, AR. Prior to that, he completed a year of General Surgery Residency at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center in Karachi, Pakistan, building a robust foundation in diverse medical disciplines. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Jinnah Medical and Dental College in Karachi, Pakistan, following his pre-medical education at OASYS School in Karachi.

In addition to his diagnostic and treatment expertise, Dr. Rana is skilled in performing a variety of procedures. These include joint injections, wound care, laceration repair, skin lesion removal, cryotherapy, Incision and Drainage (I&D), trigger point injections, arthrocentesis, and ear wax removal. His commitment to offering a full range of services reflects his dedication to holistic patient care and well-being.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Rana actively pursues several passions. He is an avid fan and player of both soccer and cricket, enjoying the competitive spirit and physical demands of both sports. He also loves to travel, exploring new cultures and experiences. Dr. Rana is fluent in multiple languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, English, and Hindi, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient population and enhance communication in his practice.
