Susan Xie, MD

Susan Xie, MD, is a dual board-certified pediatrician and allergy & immunology specialist. Her areas of expertise include food allergy and oral immunotherapy (OIT), asthma, rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria/angioedema, eosinophilic esophagitis, drug allergy, insect venom allergy, vaccine allergy and immunodeficiencies in patients of all ages, from infants to adults. Dr. Xie enjoys being able to improve patients' quality of life and to apply evolving clinical research to evidence-based care.

Dr. Xie forms long-term partnerships with patients and families, and serves as their advocate when caring for common and rare allergic and immunologic conditions. She ensures her patients' voices are heard when tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and goals.

Dr. Xie is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI); American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI); World Allergy Organization (WAO); and Washington State Medical Association (WSMA).

Away from work, she enjoys making ceramics, traveling and film photography.
