With nearly six years of diverse nursing experience, Sydney has steadily advanced her education, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University. Her background includes significant time as a registered nurse in the surgical department, which ignited her passion for orthopedics and fostered a valuable collaborative relationship with hospital orthopedic surgeons. This extensive surgical and orthopedic foundation has equipped her with valuable knowledge and insight, making her exceptionally well-suited for her role as a nurse practitioner in the orthopedic setting.

The most rewarding aspect of Sydney's role is guiding her patients through their orthopedic recovery, ultimately restoring them to a normal, functional, and pain-free life. It brings her immense joy to provide assistance and support as patients navigate the often challenging journey of overcoming conditions and injuries they initially perceive as insurmountable. She finds deep satisfaction in witnessing their triumphs, as success in the treatment plan makes every effort worthwhile. Sydney is proficient in various procedures including joint injections, tendon injections, wound care and maintenance, casting, and surgical pin removal, and addresses conditions such as osteoarthritis, fractures, sprains, strains, contusions, shoulder impingement/rotator cuff disorders, spine disc herniation/degeneration, knee meniscus tears, and plantar fasciitis.

Outside of her professional life, Sydney prioritizes God and family, which serve as her foundational pillars. She possesses a deep love for learning, often dedicating her free time to reading and researching. Music is another significant passion; it is not uncommon for those around her to hear her singing throughout the day, reflecting her joyful and expressive nature.
