Tajuana Prater, FNP-C

Tajuana Prater, FNP-C, is a compassionate and experienced nurse practitioner dedicated to breast health. Her patient-centered approach is grounded in holistic care, evidence-based practice, and profound cultural humility. Tajuana guides patients through every stage of breast care, from prevention and screening to diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

With 18 years of nursing expertise at CHI Memorial, including two Nurse of Excellence awards, Tajuana brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale.

A Ringgold, Georgia native, Tajuana finds joy in spending quality time with her two boys, family, and friends when she's not caring for her patients.
