Dr. Tannaz Armaghany is Assistant Professor of Medicine-Hematology and Oncology at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Armaghany’s professional interests include: gastrointestinal medical oncology, neuroendocrine tumors, hepatocellular carcinoma, and hepatobiliary cancers.
Dr. Armaghany received her medical degree from Tabriz University in Tabriz, Iran and completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Ill. She also completed fellowships in hematology and medical oncology at Louisiana State University Health in Shreveport, La. and integrative medicine at Arizona State University in Tucson, Ariz.
Dr. Armaghany is board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Armaghany serves as President of the Texas branch of the Iranian American Medical Association. She is also a member of American College of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, SWOG Cancer Research Network, Harris County Medical Society, International Society of Liver Cancer, and the Texas Medical Association.
