Todd Horn, MD

Dr. Todd Horn is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and patient-centered care. Dr. Horn earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2002, graduating with High Distinction. He then advanced his training through an accelerated Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky, completing it in 2004, followed by a specialized Gastroenterology Fellowship from 2005 to 2008, with an emphasis on Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Dr. Horn is committed to providing exceptional gastroenterological care in Kentucky.

Dr. Horn began practicing medicine in 2001 and is board certified in Internal Medicine (2004) and Gastroenterology (2008–Present). He specializes in treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, peptic ulcer disease, liver cirrhosis, hepatitis, biliary disorders, pancreatitis, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, colon polyps, diverticular disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr. Horn builds trusting relationships with his patients, carefully listening to their concerns and guiding them through their care.

The most rewarding part of Dr. Horn's profession is using his knowledge and experience to help people treat their gastrointestinal concerns while building meaningful relationships with them and their families over time. He is proficient in a variety of procedures, including Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, PEG tube/feeding tube placement, and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). His approach emphasizes treating patients like family, ensuring a supportive and understanding environment throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Horn finds joy in spending quality time with friends and family. He is a passionate supporter of University of Kentucky sporting events and is actively involved in his church community. To unwind and stay active, Dr. Horn also enjoys fishing and exercising.
