Dr. Hinohara was born in Tokyo, Japan. After training, he served as the Director of Interventional Cardiac Catheterization at Duke University before joining CMCI in 1988, and Dignity Health in 2016. He is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory for Sequoia Hospital. Throughout his career he has significantly advanced the field of interventional coronary and peripheral vascular disease with innovations in device development. He specializes in complex cardiology cases, and is a regional referral for technically advanced interventional cases.He is a longtime resident of San Mateo County, dedicated to serving the community.
