Toufic Fakhoury, MD

A neurologist, Toufic Fakhoury, MD, has practiced medicine since 1990. He treats patients ages 6 and older at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Neurology. His areas of focus are epilepsy and seizures.

In his approach to patient care, Dr. Fakhoury believes the most important factors are listening to patients, explaining their condition and discussing the diagnosis and treatment options. He demonstrates humankindness by listening and showing compassion. Inspired by his father to become a doctor, he gravitated to neurology as a specialty. “I found it to be very dynamic with frequent innovations and options of treatments,” he said.

Dr. Fakhoury’s medical training culminated in a fellowship in neurology, neurophysiology and epilepsy. His hobbies include travel and reading.
