Gastrointestinal and liver disorders can have a significant impact on a person's everyday life, and understanding that experience is just as important as understanding the diagnosis. I take the time to hear my patients' concerns, answer their questions, and make sure they feel understood rather than rushed through an appointment. I approach treatment as a partnership, combining my medical expertise with each patient's individual needs, priorities, and goals of care to create a plan that works for them. Medicine is rarely one-size-fits-all, so I remain flexible- following their progress, learning from their response to treatment, and adjusting our approach together when needed.
