Tuvleen Kaur is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a robust background in both pediatric and adult healthcare, characterized by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and patient education. Her clinical experience is informed by years of working in diverse healthcare settings, ranging from school-based health programs to inpatient psychiatric care. Before transitioning into her role as a Physician Assistant, Tuvleen served as a school nurse for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she managed the complex health needs of students, developed individualized education plans (IEPs), and provided emergency medical response. This experience fostered her ability to communicate effectively with families and coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams. Tuvleen’s expertise in mental health was further honed during her tenure as a Charge Nurse at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital. There, she provided direct care to patients navigating mental health challenges, monitored psychotropic medication management, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and progress. She has continued to build upon this foundation through extensive clinical training in behavioral health, where she has gained proficiency in talk therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and non-pharmacological symptom management, including guided imagery and deep breathing exercises.
