Wayne S Hwang, MD, FACC

Wayne Hwang, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in consultative cardiology, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, peripheral arterial interventions, interventional cardiology, congestive heart failure, hypertension and functional cardiac stress testing.

Dr. Hwang believes it is important to understand the disease process and to put that into the context of what the patient is going through by understanding each patient's story. He practices individualized, evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Hwang serves as deputy section chief for Cardiology, and director for both the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Wellness Clinic. He also serves as a Graduate Medical Education teaching director, Cardiology division. He was named a Top Doctor by both Seattle (2013, 2014) and Seattle Metropolitan (2014) magazines.
