Dignity Health - Connected Living

At Dignity Health Connected Living, we offer a range of supportive services designed to help individuals and families live healthier, more independent lives. We provide access to free, nutritious food through community food assistance programs, along with reliable transportation for everyday needs such as medical appointments, shopping, errands, social visits and recreational activities. 

Our Adult Day Services offer specialized care, engaging activities and caregiver support to enhance quality of life and provide respite for families. In addition, our care management team delivers personalized, holistic guidance to help individuals manage health conditions, navigate daily challenges and connect with the resources they need for long-term well-being.

    We can help you manage the chronic conditions seniors often face, like arthritis, heart failure, COPD, diabetes and heart disease.

Connected Living offers Shasta County residents a variety of ways to access healthy meals, including food bank programs for families and seniors, government commodity distributions, home-delivered Meals on Wheels, and congregate meals at senior dining centers. 

Our programs are designed to meet diverse needs, offering options like on-site pick-up, convenient delivery or social meals. Most are easy to access with a simple registration process. Please email our team with questions or for help finding the right option for you.

We have a monthly group that supports caregivers with resources, education and peer connection. It’s open to anyone caring for someone with a disability or health condition. Topics and speakers change each month, with time to share and connect. Free respite care is available if needed.

This group meets the third Wednesday, 5:30–6:30 p.m. RSVP by the Monday before at (530) 226-3000.

Eligibility requirements for volunteers include being 18 years of age or older and clearing a criminal history background check.

Volunteer orientation and onboarding is conducted on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 100 Mercy Oaks Drive, Redding, CA. To confirm a spot, please call 530-226-3098.
