Matt Grimshaw, MBA

Matt Grimshaw joined Saint Joseph Health as market president in December 2024 after leading other CommonSpirt Health markets for more than 15 years. CommonSpirit is one of the nation’s largest Catholic health care organizations with hospitals and clinics in 24 states, including Kentucky. Mr. Grimshaw’s career in Catholic healthcare reflects a deep passion for delivering exceptional health care services to those in need. He brings a history of success in expanding care that impacts a region.

He is also keenly invested in cultivating the next generation of health care professionals, and is proud of the many partnerships Saint Joseph has with several Kentucky colleges and universities.

Grimshaw holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his wife, Dr. Annette Grimshaw, have three children. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling with his family, prioritizing visits with friends around the world.
