Monte Bostwick

Monte Bostwick is a seasoned health care executive currently serving as President of St. Luke’ Memorial (East Texas) and St. Joseph Health (Brazos Valley). His responsibilities encompass strategic planning and operational oversight, focusing on enhancing health care delivery and improving the quality of patient care and community services.

Monte brings extensive leadership experience to his current role, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer at several health care organizations across the country. At Merit Health in Biloxi, Mississippi, he successfully led a 198-bed acute care hospital, an ambulatory surgery center and multiple physician clinics in a highly competitive market. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center in Washington, as well as Gilmore Regional Medical Center in Amory, Mississippi. He also held dual roles as CEO and COO at Toppenish Community Hospital in Toppenish, Washington.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lubbock Christian University. This combination of education and extensive experience in leadership roles demonstrates a commitment to excellence in health care administration.
