Rodger, a seasoned health care executive with more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience, currently serves as the Dignity Health North State Market President. In this pivotal role, which he has held since 2024, Rodger is responsible for strategic oversight of Dignity Health's operations and growth across the expansive North State Market. This rural region in far Northern California encompasses four hospitals, serves more than 130,000 patients annually and covers an area of more than 200 miles.

In addition to his market-level responsibilities, Rodger also serves as Hospital President for both St. Elizabeth Community Hospital and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta. He has led St. Elizabeth Community Hospital since 2020 and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta since 2018. Prior to these appointments, Rodger served as Chief Operating Officer at Mercy Medical Center Redding, along with other impactful health care roles throughout his career. Rodger began his career with Dignity Health in 1988.

Rodger holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration from Western Baptist College and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from National University. Throughout his extensive tenure, Rodger has been instrumental in driving significant improvements. His accomplishments include enhancing outpatient clinic processes, identifying and implementing best practices across facilities and playing a key role in strategic and capital planning for the service area. Rodger is known for his ability to inspire and challenge his teams to envision, grow and implement innovative processes that enhance health care delivery.

Deeply committed to the communities he serves, Rodger is an active participant in the North State, contributing his leadership to numerous local boards, including Dignity Health Connected Living, the Mercy Housing Board, the Mercy Foundation North Board, the Siskiyou Home Health Board and the Siskiyou County Health Collaborative.
